Currently the games for EscapeOut.Games are built with a custom block plugin for WordPress.

Each game is a custom post and the block is installed on the post. You create and edit the game post and block as you would most posts and blocks for WordPress.

All game information like puzzle questions, answers, clues, etc.. for that game are stored in the custom post data and stat information like user scores, times, comments, etc.. are stored in a custom table.
