Villa Savannah is a nice store on Broughton Street in downtown Savannah. I have been working with Digital Envy and when it was time for them to build their online shop we looked around and decided we really liked what jigoshop was doing and felt it would work. We did have a few growing pains. Jigoshop was still new and new releases were hitting us like rain but we managed and got everything working well. There are a few customizations in the code but when it comes time to update, maybe there will be some better hooks.
Overall we were happy with the usability and functionality. It had the 2 extensions we needed – a ups shipping calculator and the ability to use authorize.net – and for the one it didn’t have that we needed, I wrote. And, once again, I was impressed with jigoshop. The code was easy to understand and work with so that it didn’t take long to create the small plugin for a pop-up size chart.
